Hispanic News first supported the marches, then we started the Ax Boycotts of Kimberly Clark, AOL, Lou Dobbs, and CNN. We now move on to the 2006 elections.

16 Democrats need to be elected to replace 16 Republicans which will give the leadership of the US House of Representatives to the Democrats. Republican James Sensenbrenner, who now holds chairmanship of the House Judiciary Committee, will lose his chairmanship and will be replaced by Democrat John Conyers. The present comprehensive immigration reform legislation is not in the best interest of Undocumented. After the elections, with a Democrat as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, we will ask the present bill be discarded and a new bill be introduced favorable to Undocumented. To do any of this, Hispanics need to vote for Democrats. Unless you vote, nothing will change and the Republicans will adopt immigration reform as Sensenbrenner called for the Undocumented be branded as felons and deported.
